What to Expect

What can I expect? 

A Sunday morning service at SEC is about 75 minutes long. We start with exuberant music with lyrics on the screens, so you're welcome to sing along. After a time of praise and worship, we'll share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. 


Is there a dress code?
No. You'll see people in jeans and tee shirts and some more dressed up. You're welcome here as our honored guest. 

Will I be singled out if I'm new?
Absolutely not. You're our guest. Each Sunday, there are people just like you who are checking out SEC for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the most comfortable, stress-free experience possible.

What about my kids?
We believe that kids (nursery thru 5th grade) should have a blast at church every single week. We make this a priority at SEC

  • Adults and children are given corresponding family numbers for authorized adults to check in and check out children.
  • Children will NOT be released without the proper parental/guardian clearance.
  • Trained medical staff is available during each service.
  • All volunteers are screened and background checked before serving in our classrooms.
  • Twice-yearly training is presented to all workers.
  • A safe ratio of children to adults is required in each classroom.
