Update #10

Good day Salem Evangelical Church Family and Beyond…

Philippians 4:11-13…” Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.  12) I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.  13) I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

A very powerful, meaningful and timely passage of Scripture for the times in which we are living.

Please pray for the S.E.C. staff who are covering responsibilities that are much different than three months ago.

Please pray for the people who are fearful of going out again in public due to their age and or underlying conditions and contracting Covid-19.

Please pray for families that are now under an extra load of pressure due to the current circumstances and unintended consequences of the pandemic.

Please pray for the people who have had their income decreased or who have been laid off from work and are now without income.

Please pray for a cure for the disease and for there to be medicine that will help with the disease.

Please pray that we remain unified as a church family.

Please pray that God will continue to provide for our financial needs as He has thus far without having full church services for eight weeks.

Please pray for people who need pastoral care but are not allowed to receive such care because of visiting restrictions.

Please pray for families who have had to make huge adjustments to work schedules because children are at home.

Please pray for parents and grandparents as they are teaching their children and grandchildren online.

Please pray that we will learn from this season of uncertainty, what God wants us to learn so we can be better equipped to serve Him when this subsides.

Please pray for one another as this is the best thing to do no matter what takes place in life.

Please pray for perseverance.

Please pray for those who are discouraged.
