Dear Salem Evangelical Church Family and beyond,
We continue to march on towards the prize of being with Jesus in heaven one day. This world is not our home and indeed we are aliens and strangers just passing through!
I trust you have been encouraged with the many calls and notes our staff have been sending since March 15, 2020. I trust the many on line touches have been helpful in keeping you strong and growing in the Lord. If you know of someone who has been left out or if you have not been contacted please call the church office and let us know so we do not miss anyone!
I trust the daily devotionals and the Wednesday night Bible study and the Sunday messages are touching your soul. Likewise, I trust getting back together with your smaller group has been very meaningful as well as those who have joined us in the Sunday morning service.
I trust you are encouraged and looking forward to our future at Salem Evangelical Church both now and in the future. I trust you are praying more than ever. I trust your walk with Jesus is stronger than ever before.
We are available to you as a church staff and want to minister to you in any way that would help you with your needs.
I want to thank you very much for your continued generous giving to meet the needs of the church and beyond. At the congregational meeting the church budget passed unanimously with zero no votes as did the three Trustees that were re-elected. This demonstration of unity is priceless.
I want to urge us to remain unified as a church family during these days of many voices and opinions about many subjects.
I want to thank you for your kindness and many responses of encouragement. You can never fully know how important your words are. They are priceless and are treasured greatly!
