We were privileged to make a report in January 2021 as a tribute to Pastor Randy Butler on the fantastic partnership of Salem Evangelical Church and One Mission Society to construct training centers in the Asia Pacific Region. However, we still had seven more centers to complete by March 2021, and we want to praise the Lord they were all finished on time. (See attached report)

Our relationship with the Levite Network to realize 72 centers over three years has been an enormous catalyst for multiplying disciples and churches in Vellore, India. Recently, we have sent $25,000 from support by SEC to Levite Network to expand the training. We will be providing masks to help assure attendees’ safety while attending and funds to start ten more training centers by the end of 2021.

In South Asia, our partner uses training centers to assist the government in providing a location and their members to distribute vaccinations for Covid-19. The clinic next to the garment factory has accelerated the return of employees to work and provide for their families during this pandemic.

In India, the next Regional Coordinators meeting will be hosted at the Nellimarla training center in October. Plans are being made to train 1200 India Missionary Movement workers on evangelism, church planting, and leadership development to focus on unreached people groups.

Although the pandemic has stifled ministry across the region, we are seeing our ministry partners utilize technology to encourage, train, and provide outreach of the gospel while meeting some basic needs to sustain life in many families. Thank you for the generosity of Salem EC members who contributed to this partnership with One Mission Society.
