One of my biggest heartbreaks in ministry is watching the people of my generation walk away from the faith after being committed throughout their growing up years. I firmly believe the disconnect is that there has been a failure to cement the faith as their own. My heart is to help teach these young adults and grow them together as a working body of believers!
I have been often told that our generation is the “now” of the church. Well, I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines without putting skin in the game. If we are going to be the “now” generation, then my commitment is to help us reach where God wants us to be!
SEC’s Young Adults group is an awesome community of people ages 18 to 30ish that meets on Sundays from 3 pm – 5 pm. We study the Word, hang out, have game nights, and other things that Gen Z to Millennials want to be a part of. We desire honest and open relationships, and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
If you are a young adult (It’s a state of mind more than anything!) or know someone who is, come hang out with us and grow with fellow believers who are in the same stage of life!
